As a dad I want my children to have a global vision.  I want them to have the heart of Jesus for the world.  In Matthew 25:31-46 Jesus is discussing the sheep and the goats.  He is sharing with his followers the importance of caring for those who are less fortunate than you.  Many of us know the story, but it is worth the five minute reread. 

I was sitting with my son this morning before school and he was ready to go early (yes I do believe in miracles).  We jumped online to a web site to check it out.  My Jr. High students told me about this and it is a great resource.  You get to give rice to impoverished nations through doing a vocabulary quiz online.  The cool thing is we can work on my son's reading and vocabulary as well as feeding the poor.  I can't wait to sit with him tonight and go over Matthew 25 with him and share about our Jesus vision for people around us.
